This document was written by William “Bill” Hill in February 2016. I signed on the first day it was released at Benton Airfield in Redding California. We are part of a group which is taught on a regular basis called the “FAASTeam”. This is a volunteer effort recognized by the FAA and other industry agencies and companies to improve the skills of and recognize excellent pilots through ongoing discussions. It is more of a cultural and academic organization of those who see value in the lessons learned and shared by all members not just out wonderful host William Hill. Though the following document was intended for manned aircraft, i encourage all drone pilots to sign and live by its principles.
